My Birthday

So today I leave my teenage years behind and enter into the adult life. Ok so I have really been an adult since I was probably 18 but it doesnt matter. Today i day goodbye to the teens.
I Dont think I will mourn the passing of my teenage years. I still have the memories. Thats good enough right. Unlike others I hang out with I dont feel the need to stay young forever. I want to grow up. I want to get a job, go to work, get married, have kids. All the stuff I plan to do over the next 10 years. Really, who wants to continue to go thru the akwardness of teen life. I love to remeber those time. They were good. I had lots of friends, some I still have today. I had alot of excitement and adventures. I had true love and heartache. But I am deffinatly ready to move on

I think I really grew up and became and adult the day Mandy got engaged. That just made my life change from who is dating whom to who is marrying whom. It was entertaining but you know, somedays you grow up quicker then other days.
Anyways I figure I have done good. I think that if you have One good friend for every year your are alive your doing well... well i geuss till you hit that age where they all start dying off but thats not for a while. So do i have 20 good friends, 20 people i love and care for. hell ya! Thats why im not afraid to let the teen years role.

The End

This is the end of the week. A time to relax, take a break and let all your worries float away....
Oh wait... thats not the weekend... thats when im not in school!
Next week is mid term week for me. Ya! So much fun. How excited are you for me. Although I can not complain to bad. I have two tests, an essay and a outline to do. That isnt all that bad. However its pretty bad when these will be the first tests i take(other then a lame spanish one) first essay I write and first outline i make up. Blahhh! Whatever... I think I am doing well enough to make it thru next week without tooo many problems.
However I would just like to say whoopee! for October birthdays. Our parents know how to pickem Rodney! However my birthday happens to land at the end of a very long and hard week. Next friday people. So let me tell you. I will want a drink.... All i ask is that someone have a drink ready for me come friday.... only if I am awake however! (warning: Alcohol does not fix everyones problems... but after a long week.. i dont care!)

So tonight is the home opener for Concordias Basketball teams!!! WHOOOPPPEE! Apparently they are taking people to the bar... giving them 50 cent high balls and then bringing them back to the school. I am confused...... exactlly who thought that was a good idea. ... lets take people out drinking and then bring them back to the high school for some cheering.... cuz this wont lead to any moral conflict at all. whatever
anyways this will be the debut of my highly skilled announcing skills. HA.... ha... HA! You all will see that this is an incorrect statement but what can I say. I geuss Im just going to have to do it. Once my knees stop knocking louder then my talking im sure everything will be just fine. And then comes the return of our wonderfull..... gloriouse..... amazing tradition of pizza after bball! Ya.... you know how much work it takes us "minor offical staff" to do our jobs. really at the end of a game we are just as tired as the players.... need.... pizza!

Anyways that is all i have to say for now... yup.... im done. WHoope!! Working rocks. Well i must drift off. Work is done and i have class to attend.

People who think they are beyond just sucking it up and doing what is right make me upset. I am getting frustrated!
