In Charge

So this year at the pool is very exciting for me. I have a title. HEAD GUARD! That means everyone listens to me
or so i thought

Ya so i like to think that i can be a bitch if need be. I can normally tell people what to do and deligate. However its very hard to do this I find with a) people that are older then me and have guarded longe and b) people who dont know me. The first is a problem because i always see myself as less experienced because i have only ever worked in the summer. Never did the guarding plus school thing. So now when people see me and think well ive guarded longer ... blah blah blah... i kinda loose my inner bitch.
The second was discovered today. I had a new girl come in that needed to shadow. She met me for the first time today and i have heard thru the grapevine that we may have a few issuse. So my thought is catch bad habbits quick. But then i thougth.... well i cant do that. she doesnt know me and will think im just a horrible person. I am already one of the guards that is the most vocal already... she doesnt need me yelling at her on top of yelling at the kids to prove how horible i am.
So i have determined that this is my year for people not to like me. There are two bosses looking to me to get stuff done.... i transfer that to the rest of the guards. May not be pretty all the time but its going to be ok. Plus they should be doing these things anyways. I just have to make sure this stuff happens.

In other news nearly got heat stroke today. It was 23 degrees and that really isnt that hot till you are sitting beside a pool that is 33 degrees and reflecting the sun right at you. However as soon as i started feeling light headed i drank anothere bottle of water and go to it. BLAH> Heat stroke is the devil. Sun burn is only half. Lol. Got to love the tan we get from out uniforms. t-back tank tops. lol. Good old stripe down the center. LOL> And then we have the permasandel tan. lol. Never goes away. FLIP FLOPS!! YA

Hummm ok any other news then pool stuff... OH YA!! MY sister is coming with my childeren in like...... a month. Less then. I am so excited and they are staying for 3 weeks. whoopppeee. Ya. I love my kids and check this out.
